As the new Assistant to the CEO, you’ll need to be a standout at:

  • Organizing and rearranging John’s calendar while accurately scheduling meetings, calls and Google hangouts
  • Drafting presentations and communications (such as this job description)
  • Delving into his inbox, organizing it and responding to emails when necessary
  • Being flexible enough to change plans and meetings at a moment’s notice and working to get them rearranged in a timely fashion
  • Keeping track of John’s schedule and bugging him when he is running late to his next meeting

ATLANTA EVENTS TEAM LEADER

Our Atlanta events team is expanding and we’re currently hiring Events Team Leaders to oversee events, manage scoopers/ambassadors, and help serve our loyal customers in the greater Atlanta area.

We prefer candidates with previous events/brand ambassador experience, but we are willing to train candidates with flexible schedules and whom have the desire to learn the job while working hard.

HOURS:

Hours vary, but the majority of hours worked will be during evenings and weekends. (*This role requires a flexible evening/weekend schedule.*)

A MUST:

An Events Team Leader must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee set up and tear down of events

BRAND AMBASSADORS FOR JENI'S SPLENDID ICE CREAMS/EAT WELL DISTRIBUTION (PART-TIME)

Food Sample Demonstrator, Food/Product Demonstrator

A sister-company to Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Eat Well Distribution works with emerging food producers that offer unique, high-quality, delicious grocery items.  Eat Well Distribution Brand Ambassadors spread the word about Eat Well’s clients around the country by doing in-store food demonstrations and providing samples while sharing information about the brand and product. They prepare and demonstrate the products while offering samples coupled with facts and information to increase knowledge.

This is a part time hourly position.  Eat Well Distribution requires Brand Ambassadors to transport themselves and their equipment to a variety of retailers in their area.

Brand Ambassadors will:

  • Introduce customers to brand by sharing information about the brand and samples of product
  • Become familiar with a variety of products and provide demonstrations and samples from ice creams to pizzas to jerky
  • Improve appearance of products on shelves
  • Set up and clean up space after the demonstration
  • Follow guidelines and procedures to ensure each sampling event is executed properly
  • Promptly inform clients of results of sampling events by completing demo reports including pictures
  • Stand for the entirety of the demonstration and transport any necessary materials which can include: table, toaster oven, samples, etc
  • Provide excellent customer service

Ambassadors should:

  • be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and confident and comfortable working alone
  • be able to communicate about a variety of food products
  • be very organized
  • communicate well
  • be able to quickly solve problems and answer questions on site

  • personal transportation: travel is required

FULFILLMENT TEAM (CDL) - COLUMBUS

The Jeni’s Fulfillment department is a vital part of the Jeni’s team, delivering ice cream to our scoop shops and shipping ice cream to our retail partners.  To be considered for the position, a valid drivers license with no felony charges and no more than two moving violations in the last two years is required. Must either have a class A or B cdl endorsement or be ready to obtain one through our company. This will include pre-employment and random drug screening as well as a DOT physical. Should posses the ability to operate and stay focused in below freezing environments for extended periods of time and be able to lift 50-80 pounds regularly and routinely.  Summer hours will be required from 6:00am to 2:30pm or 8:00am to 4:30pm.   An eye for detail when considering work equipment and vehicles, processes and safety, previous experience with large powered work equipment a plus. Brains, trustworthiness and a positive attitude will be prized. Full time employee status, earning $11.00/hour for the first month. After a successful completion of the probationary period the wage increases to $12.00/ hr. 30-40 hours a week, must be available to work weekends. Some out of town travel is required, and often includes an overnight stay.

PREP ASSISTANT MANAGER - COLUMBUS

As the Prep Assistant Manager, you are representing everything Jeni, the Kitchen Director and Production Manager expect out of the employees in the kitchen.  You are expected to know and follow all Production Employee and Shift Leader expectations to a T.  Know them, breathe them, live them… be them.  You rock, now prove it by always doing the following:

  • Communicate and carry out the weekly and daily production plans
  • Assist with staffing plans for peaks and valleys compared to the production projections

Required Qualifications:

SHIPPING TEAM - COLUMBUS

The shipping team is in need of help.  Our team ships the world best ice cream to the world best customers on a daily basis. We are looking for people that can work in sub-zero temperatures, have a strong sense of urgency and an eagle eye for detail.

Duties:
- pick/pack orders in freezer
- construct our cardboard boxes
- lift 70lbs +
- take and maintain inventory levels

Hours are approximately 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, M-F.  There will be long hours and weekend shifts around the December holidays, as well as over time opportunities at other peak times.  $10.00/hour starting pay.

SR. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATOR

Jeni’s is looking for a Sr. Accounts Payable Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for the accounts payable functions as well as additional tasks that will enhance the workflow of the department.

Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Accounts Payable Coordinator, you’ll need to be a standout at:

  • Overseeing the accuracy of all monthly expense coding
  • Monthly accounts payable reconciliations and accruals
  • Day to day management of corporate credit card program
  • Managing vendor relationships
  • Owning the 1099 process at year end
  • Creating structures to support the growth of accounts payable processes in the company
