Ice cream for breakfast
Mark your calendars people! Saturday, Feb. 3 is Ice Cream for Breakfast Day. (It’s a real, decades-old holiday dreamt up by a pretty smart mom.) And—starting right now—we’re offering multiple ways to enjoy a morning scoop while supporting She Should Run, an amazing nonprofit working to get 250,000 women running for elected office by 2030. Scroll to learn how you can participate.
Round up the kiddos, your best pals, grandparents, and cousins—and come into a scoop shop on Saturday, Feb. 3. We’ll be donating 50% of sales from 9 a.m. to noon to She Should Run. That means half of every dollar you spend will help the nonprofit carry out its mission. Hope to see you there!
From now until Feb., 3, you can order an Ice Cream for Breakfast collection (our favorite early a.m. flavors) and join us from home in your PJs! Host a brunch and trade pancakes for pints. Send ice cream to your sister in Sioux Falls or best friend in Birmingham. Our Ice Cream for Breakfast collection is a roundup of our favorite flavors to enjoy before noon. Half of the money you spend will go directly to She Should Run. That means $34 from every 6-pint collection sold and $49 from every 9-pint collection will help get She Should Run that much closer to their goal. (Pro tip: add a scoop of Coffee with Cream & Sugar to your morning cup o’ joe.)
We’re supporting She Should Run this year because we believe the work they do is bigger than politics. As more women are elected into office they become role models to young girls and women. They show what’s doable by example. Meaning the next generation of women can actually envision the possibilities of leadership, not just dream about it. Which is a pretty amazing thing.
