Since our humble beginnings in 2002 in Columbus’ North Market, we’ve created ice creams that we fall madly in love with, that we want to bathe in, that make us see million-year-old stars. And we’ll devour it all out of Mason jars, coffee mugs, thrifted bowls—whatever we can get our hands on.
We are artists, writers, photographers, growers and producers. Designers, doers, drinkers. Thinkers, dreamers, beekeepers, dancers, engineers, and cyclists. Real-deal whiz kids and big-brain mathletes, ace musicians and world-class experience gatherers.
We blend, bake, mix, peel, chop, skin, pulverize, roast, toast, and blow torch the ingredients that become ice creams.
We write, photograph, envision, tear, play, paint our way through the year on the Jeni’s Recipe Development and Art +Design teams.
We deliver it, ship it, box it, pack it, scoop it, count it, track it, and keep the ship going forward at full speed.
We cut no corners, we take no shortcuts.
We are a proud Certified B Corporation endorsed by the international nonprofit B Lab as a company that meets rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.
More than a decade ago, we committed ourselves to making the best ice creams we could imagine. To that effort, we’ve always bought as many ingredients as possible directly from farmers, distillers, brewers, and producers.
We strive to put people on par with profit. Our approach, we believe, cultivates community near our kitchen in Columbus and in any region we touch, including cities home to our scoop shops and places as far away as Uganda, where we buy fair-trade-certified vanilla. Working with people we know and trust guarantees we’re using the best-possible ingredients we can find.
We are proud to have achieved Certified B Corp status. It means we’re an evolving company—pushing forward to be better tomorrow than we are today.
