NYC Street Treats tour: Day #3

We started the day at the Serious Eats HQ in Chinatown.

They had a lovely spread for us and we had a great time shooting the sh_t.

Each of the Heinz bottles below has a Serious Eats “Missionaries of the Delicious” label.  (See a close up here.) Like.

Ridiculously bad photo of the Serious Eats team—not enough coffee. Love you guys!

Then it was off to scoop at Foragers in Chelsea.

There was already line before we started scooping, and it just got longer.

In the right hand, a cone, in the left hand, a copy of the cookbook with a cover to protect it from splatter while making ice cream at home.

It’s fashion week in NYC and the crew from Kotoba was getting ready for their show.

Then we made a beeline over to the James Beard House for a tour.

Then it was off to our first Brooklyn stop at Valley Shepherd Creamery in Park Slope.

The shop.

Four flavors, but something for everyone.

Like everywhere we go, we brought Ohio with us.

It was nice seeing folks who came out again after having our ice cream at Meatopia.

Back in the day when I was the sales guy, Meredith Modzelewski helped get our pints on the shelves at Greene Grape and was invaluable resource about other spots in the city, so we have much love. Thanks, Meredith!
