New in our Columbus shops today—and across the country in our other shops in the coming weeks—is Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks, the ice cream formerly known as The Buckeye State.

(Note: Our Columbus Commons and German Village walk-ups don’t have it on the menu yet.)

Savory-sweet with creamy-crunchy texture, it features exactly what its name suggests: salted ground roasted peanuts and rich chipped dark chocolate.

Why the name change? While there’ll always be a place in our hearts for the original name, we like our flavor names to be immediately descriptive of the ice cream’s ingredients, as much as possible.

If you’re a Buckeye or a Buckeye at heart, you can still call it The Buckeye State while ordering if you want, totally fine with us.
