What’s Valentine’s Day without a couple of cocktails? Here are two we love, made with sorbets found in our Sorbet Cocktail Mixers.
ROUGE YOUR KNEES
(pg 178, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream Desserts)
Red Raspberry Sorbet tastes grassy and fresh in this juicy cocktail.
Makes 1 drink
- One 4-ounce chunk (about 1/4 pint) Red Raspberry Sorbet
- 1/4 cup gin
- 1 to 2 ounces soda water
- Twist of lime
- Sprig of lavender
Lean the chunk of sorbet against the side of a tall glass. Pour the gin over and add soda water to your taste. Garnish with the lime twist and spring of lavender.
