"As a late Gen X guy, I proudly take up the mantel of "Salted Caramel is my generation's Werther's Original". That being said, this is easily the best salted caramel ice cream I've tasted, and I've had a ton. The salt level is perfect, the cream level is exquisite, and the caramel is at just the right note. Highly impressive- you can taste the craftsmanship."

I love salt, but. . .

"I love salt and salty-sweet desserts, but the balance wasn't there for me. I think this could have been better (for me) if there was a consistent thick ribbon of sweet caramel OR the ice cream was standard caramel with the ribbon being the salty caramel. The problem I am having is that the salt is overpowering the delightful caramel flavor. (Also, I tried a little of this with the Blackout Chocolate Cake and somehow they canceled each other out?????)"
