Driver - Atlanta, GA

This position is available in Atlanta, GA area. This position will be part of Jeni’s day-to-day operations team that delivers ice cream to our scoop shops and customers around the country.  This person will drive a Jeni’s delivery truck to make pickups and deliveries at locations inside the Jeni’s network.  This person will also assist the warehouse team in picking and packing orders.  This person must embody hustle, guts and a strong work ethic for the job.

This position is a first shift position (7:00 am – 3:00 pm) Monday – Friday with occasional overtime and weekends. Expect to make at least one overnight trip for out of town deliveries once a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely complete pickups and deliveries of ice cream and other items using Jeni’s box truck
  • Inspect trucks prior to driving, shipping or receiving
  • Receive ice cream and other items and provide supervisor with paperwork
  • Accurately pick and pack merchandise for eCommerce orders
  • Assist in building of pallets of material for shipping / storage
  • Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse
  • Assist in counts and reconciliation of inventory

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for safely and effectively delivering product across multiple chains while maintaining accuracy of inventory by auditing the product being delivered. A keen attention to detail is required, as well as a self-driven, positive attitude. This position works both on the road and in the warehouse and holds responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

Order Processor - Columbus, OH

The Order Processor expedites transactions through the warehouse processing systems. OPs provide information and resolve issues with internal/external teams, third party logistics providers, and warehouse associates.

Job responsibilities:

  • Review and process orders from all company channels—eCommerce, Wholesale Direct, Shops, and Distributors
  • Audit incoming orders for accuracy of information (e.g. address changes, transit times, correct weights & dimensions, known flavor shortages, order transfers between warehouses, order placement confirmation, inclusion of special inserts with certain orders, and cost of shipping). Obtain any missing information from appropriate parties to finalize orders
  • Create and print shipping labels for speciality orders, and ensure all shipments have proper postage
  • Understand and utilize ShipStation and Plex systems to initiate workload through the warehouse and reconcile system inventories. Plan, allocate, manifest, and virtually close daily batches of orders
  • Print physical orders and attach gift messages in manageable waves until the days shipping cutoff, separating orders by shipping method
  • Appropriately assign correct statuses to orders in the system
  • Correspond with team members from other Jeni’s departments to provide clear warehouse/shipping information as requested
  • Export data from ordering/shipping systems to Excel, compiling and reporting on findings
  • Diagnose root causes of order issues as they arise
  • Perform weekly audit of eCommerce inventories to ensure accuracy
  • Generate and utilize system reports & audit sheets to evaluate shift progress
  • Track shipments to ensure timely delivery with Endicia, FedEx, and ShipStation programs
  • Maintain working knowledge of products, order fulfillment policies and procedures

Jeni’s is looking for a Merchandise Processor to join our Fulfillment Team (shipping) in Columbus, OH.

The Merchandise Processor/Shipping Team Member picks and packs merchandise orders in a timely and skillful manner while meeting Jeni’s standards for safety, security, and productivity. The Merchandise Processor works within the shipping team to ensure completeness and correctness of all orders filled, and is excellence-driven, dependable, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking & packing customer merchandise orders, making sure the product is packaged to safely arrive complete at its destination. Typical working hours are 8:00-4:30 (40 hrs/wk guaranteed).

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is one of the fastest growing super-premium ice cream brands in the U.S. Today, Jeni’s has 34 scoop shops across the US, is sold in 3,000 retail partner locations and has a fast growing direct-to-consumer business. We are searching for a big-thought leader and big-hearted Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Director to oversee the digital marketing strategy and execution for the brand, and to drive ecommerce sales channel growth, both on the Jenis.com site and on retail partner sites (e.g., Instacart, FreshDirect, Amazon Fresh, etc).

This role reports to our Chief Commercial Officer and currently has one direct report.

Ecommerce Sales Channel responsibilities:

  • Develop strategy to significantly increase ecomm revenue, while managing the P&L and partnering across with team members on technology investments (ecomm vendors, site maintenance), supply chain, marketing (social media, creative, communications) and finance.
  • Meet ecommerce sales goals, lead corporate gifting program, subscription (pint club) growth, and DTC business.
  • Lead and direct site re-platforming project and ongoing maintenance efforts, UI/UX and overall site CX.
  • Lead analysis and strategy related to increasing new and repeat customers, orders/week, site traffic, conversion, and AOV to ultimately drive customer LTV while maintaining planned CAC.
  • Develop and execute online marketing calendars to support omni-channel revenue targets, in-line with overall brand and marketing initiatives.
  • Recommend enhancements to ecommerce-related systems, technology, tools, needed resources, and workflow to improve processes, efficiencies, and contribution margin.
  • Direct the team in the development of ecommerce merchandising activity, demand planning, and inventory management, working with operations and fulfillment

Digital Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Lead all digital marketing strategies and programming both internally and with 3rd party partners, to grow overall brand awareness, consideration, and trial & support the wholesale, shops & ecomm P&L
  • Oversee customer lifecycle marketing strategy throughout the customer journey by serving new, existing, and lapsed customers.
  • Oversee CRM with a focus on email marketing, including the communication strategy, calendar, and channel performance end-to-end.

Team Jeni’s is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Production Team (Kitchen) in Columbus, OH.

This person will ensure that Kitchen equipment & building are kept in good repair and maintain compliance with regulations by performing preventive maintenance & repairs or scheduling contractors when necessary. Sanitation Technician

Team Jeni’s is looking for a Sanitation Technician (2nd or 3rd shift) to join our Production Team (kitchen) in Columbus, OH.

As part of the Quality and Food Safety team, the Sanitation Technician, working under the Sanitation Manager’s guidance, is responsible for cleaning & sanitizing equipment, performing environmental cleaning, and safely using cleaning/sanitizing chemicals. Sanitation Technicians play a key role in maintaining an exceptionally clean and food-safe production environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Working alone, or in conjunction with other Sanitation Technicians, disassemble, clean and reassemble processing equipment, while evaluating the progress of the work in assigned cleaning areas.
  • Interact with the Sanitation Manager to prioritize specific projects.
  • Safely handle and apply cleaning & sanitizing chemicals per Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain sanitation equipment and materials in a secure, clean and organized manner.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Preventive Controls guidelines.
  • Document all cleaning and sanitizing activities on appropriate checklists.
  • Execute plant processing setup for the Production team, based on direction from the Production Schedule and Sanitation Manager.
  • Assist in recycling and general waste management.

The qualified candidate must have:

  • Availability to work second or third shift during the week and various hours, as needed, on weekends.
  • High School Diploma or GED highly preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations for computing chemical concentrations.
  • Ability to read & write in English to complete documentation and understand Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Data Sheets.
  • Capacity to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in wet or humid conditions and occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions while performing certain job duties.

Production Technician I

Team Jeni’s is looking for a Production Technician I to join the Kitchen team in Columbus, OH. The Production Technician I works to meet production goals in a team setting in compliance with Food Safety and Quality, Safety, and Company policies. This position reports to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Arrives 5 minutes before start of shift to be dressed and ready to go into the kitchen by start of shift &present for morning shift huddle.
  • Understands how to follow recipes.

  • Properly fills out production documentation such as production log checklists, monitoring forms, etc. and loads data into Plex work centers.

Materials Manager - Production

Team Jeni’s is looking for a Materials Manager to join our Kitchen team in Columbus, OH. This person ensures that forecasted demands are scheduled at the production facility, that necessary ingredients are present in a timely manner for production, and that inventory counts are accurate. The Materials Manager also assists in driving continuous improvement through data input and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete weekly cycle counts to determine inventory accuracy and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Complete weekly cycle count report for Director of Manufacturing, including investigation report and corrective action steps for any discrepancies.
  • Track cycle count accuracy and work on solutions to improve accuracy.
  • Ensure that Production Team has supplies for entire week of production; communicate potential shortfalls to Production Manager and Director of Manufacturing.
  • Ship orders to production partners and third-party warehouses.
  • Inspect trucks prior to receiving and shipment.
  • Complete records associated with receiving and shipping product and ingredients.
  • Receive ingredients and supplies.
  • Maintain organization of receiving and warehouse areas in conjunction with the Production Technician III.
  • Track production data as specified by the Production Manager and Director of Manufacturing.

  • Provide production capacity numbers to Planning Team, updating data as needed.
  • Lead weekly planning meeting.

  • Source and purchase supplies for production.
  • Act as the primary trainer at Kitchen on inventory management system use.
  • Working in conjunction with the Food Safety Manager, act as a member of the traceability team for production, from the production facility.

Qualifications:
